How To Tighten Your Vagina

Before we get into how to tighten your vagina, though, let me explain the sex thing, because that’s a huge myth.

The vagina has muscular ridges called ruggae inside of it. These ridges expand (just like a penis) during sex – growing up to 200% in size. The vagina is only 3-4 inches long, but the average penis is 5-6 inches long when erect, so it has to expand to make room.

So if you are ever worried about accommodating a huge penis (greater than 10 inches), don’t be — your vagina stretches. After you orgasm the vagina goes back to its original size.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about seven ways you can tighten up your vagina:

1) The vagina needs exercise, so learn how to do kegels!

The more you exercise her the better she works. Kegels – you know, the clenching you do when you are faking orgasms – makes her strong. Hold the contraction for 10 seconds and relax for 10 seconds. Try to do 3 sets of 10 reps a day.

2) Ben-wa balls are a better exercise, though.

Purchase them from an adult store. Since the balls are weighted, you have to use your muscles in the vagina to hold them in. Buy the ones with the string attached to them. This way you can increase resistance by tugging on them – and you also won’t lose them.

3) Have more orgasms.

Sex by itself can exercise the vagina, but orgasms are more effective. The uncontrolled muscle contractions in your vagina and anus, as well as the uterus due to the release of oxytocin can tighten her.

4) Work your core!

Pilates are great for this. Any exercise that helps strengthen your core muscles will work in conjunction to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. It’s a win, win ladies!

5) Try vagina cones.

They are a set of small cones, identical in shape and size but of increasing weights. If you can keep a cone in the vagina for 15 minutes, you can use a heavier cone the next day. They are similar to Ben-wa balls except that a doctor prescribes these.

6) Pelvic floor physical therapy.

This can be prescribed by your doctor. A physical therapist can create a routine that can work to strengthen your pelvic floor, which in turn will help you tighten your vagina. The physical therapists will work with you based on your schedule and level of fitness.

7) There’s always vaginoplasty.

This is a fancy word for reconstructive plastic surgery of the vagina. It should be a last resort – absolutely not something that you decide to do before trying everything else first.

Now you have some tools in your box to get that vagina tight. Once again, do not get surgery first! Make sure you try every option before jumping for surgery. If you want more advice on keeping your vulva in top shape, check out this article on what you should know about vaginal health.
